He was born in 10th of March 1986, Morphou. He graduated from Near East University Faculty of Communication Radio – TV – Cinema Department in 2008. He completed his master’s degree program at the University of Sunderland in 2010, entitled ‘Film and Cultural Studies’. He continues to his phd at NEU Media and Communication Studies. He worked as a co-ordinator of Turkish unit in Hollywood movie “Ghost Rider 2: The Spirit of Revenge”. He has been an assistant director on TV shows such as “Canım Doktor” on TV8 and “Evim Şahane” on Kanal D. He gave lectures about film making in private institutions such as Sinematek and Fil’m Hafızası. He has 6 short films that had been screened and selected at 9 festivals including the 15th Golden Cocoon Film Festival, the 13th Boston Turkish Films Festival and the Cyprus International Short Film Festival. He won Süleyman Uluçamgil Poetry Award in 2005 and Selection Committee Award in Tarık Dursun K. Story Competition, 2012. His stories had been published in various magazines such as Varlık, Kitap-lık, Sarnıç and Notos. He is one of the founders and editors of Uçsuz, a journal of literacy and criticism. In May 2014 “Limon Yağmuru” and in February 2017 “Anlatamıyorum” were published by Yapı Kredi Publications.
