She was born in Ankara in 1964. She completed her primary school education at Ankara Iltekin Ilkokulu. After graduating from Ankara Kurtuluş Ortaokulu, she completed her high school education at Ankara Atatürk Lisesi. In 1987, she graduated from Middle East Technical University – Faculty of Architecture. Three years later in 1990, She completed her master’s degree at METU – Faculty of Architecture.
In Ankara she worked as an architect at Delta Yapı Architectural Office and Sezar Aygen- Atelier S. Between the years 1991-1994 she worked as a member of Nicosia Master Plan Team at the Town Planning Department.
Starting in 1995, she started working part time and then full time as an instructor at NEU – Faculty of Architecture. In this period she took part in Summer Training and Transfer Commitees. Since 1997, she is giving Introduction to Architecture, Introduction to Interior Architecture, Construction and Architectural design lectures besides her work as a student counsellor. She is continuing her Ph.D thesis at NEU – Faculty of Architecture.
Since her graduation, she involved in the application projects of various buildings besides her work on scientific research and writing articles.
She is married and has two children.
