He was born in Nicosia on 7 July 1965. He completed his high school education in Türk Maarif College – Nicosia. He graduated from Faculty of Architecture in METU, with Master’s degree in 1989. He completed his military service in 1991. Until 1993, worked for various construction companies. Later founded his own architectural office. In the same years, he worked as part-time instructor in NEU Faculty of Architecture . Between 1996 – 97, he has worked as a representative of the universities, in the “Monuments of the High Council”. He took active roles of various commissions and boards of directors in the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Architects. Currently working as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Architects. Since graduation, he has experienced the realization of application projects of the various public, commercial and residential type buildings. He also, made studies on his profession academically. He has issues as scientific papers, articles and research studies.

Now, he works as a full-time instructor in the Faculty of Architecture of the Near East University. He came to the end of his Doctoral Studies. He is responsible from the execution of tasks of the Graduate programs at the Faculty of Architecture. He already gives courses on architectural projects, materials, and building physics. He is married and has two children.
