She was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1980. She completed her lycee education in Güzelyurt Kurtuluş Lycee in 1997. Then she completed her undergraduate education at the European University of Lefke, in the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture during the years 1997-2002. In 2003, she started her Masters education in Near East University, Faculty of Architecture, and Department of Architecture.

During her Masters studies, she worked as a part-time instructor in the Architecture Department of Near East University. In 2006, she completed her Masters education in Near East University with her thesis titled ‘Climate Factor of Architecture and Determining the Factors which are Related to Density of Physical House Space Settlement’s Principles’. Within the same year she started to teach as a full time instructor at Near East University, Department of Architecture and Interior Design, and still continues to teach at the same departments. In the year of the 2013, she received her Doctorate degree in Architecture from the Architecture Department of the Near East University, with high honours. Her thesis was titled as ‘Evaluating the Historical Development of Physical City Design, Nicosia City’.

Since the fall semester of 2017-2018, she has been working as a Double Major Program Coordinator of the Faculty of Architecture. She has taken an active role in various organizations such as exhibitions, seminars, workshops and conferences and she has written scientific papers, made presentations and did researches on her academic subject area.She has been writing newspaper articles especially about the physical development process of Kyrenia city.She has been serving as an Environmental Advisor member within the context of the Ancient Kyrenia Harbour Environment Conservation Society since 2012. Her interests include architectural education, city, design, different cultures and photography.
